1898 Public House
The 1898 Public House, open on the weekend only, is hometown comfort with county club elegance, offering breakfast and brunch on Saturday and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The hot ticket meals range from classic breakfast items to crème brûlée french toast. This Spokane kitchen takes visitors on a flavor journey across the U.S., all while from the comfort of home. Try the shrimp and grits, short rib benedict, or certified angus beef breakfast burger- all exclusive weekend only breakfast meals are top notch! Chaps
One of Spokane’s most renowned restaurants, Chaps is a café and bakery unlike any other in the area. Founded on food and love, Chaps serves breakfast Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. (on top of lunch and dinner). Try one of their bakery items like their maple pecan scone or full breakfast meals like their biscuits and gravy or bananas foster french toast. With a full bar, grab a mimosa or slowly sip a coffee speciality of your choice in the dining room or on their umbrella shaded patio.
Francaise
Francaise’s, the only French cuisine inspired breakfast around, brings modern yet familiar tastes to foodies inspired by French culture. Settled into the South Hill’s Perry District, the popular yet intimate space serves breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Be whisked away to Paris in every bite. Become enchanted as you embark on a culinary journey of the finest French cuisine from this Spokane delight. Try the pomme frites or pan seared steak and eggs at Francaise where you are welcomed into their French ambiance in jeans or your finest joggers.
The Grain Shed
Not just a breakfast bakery, but a brewery too, The Grain Shed welcomes everyone in with open arms to try their pastries and toast every morning. What is better than fresh bread in the morning, my dear? Nothing! Pop into this other Perry District staple starting at 7 a.m. every Wednesday through Monday to experience breakfast in a quaint and quiet way. Inland Pacific Kitchen
Reservations are encouraged for this weekend only brunch spot located in the historic Washington Cracker Building. The brisket hash is a contender for best breakfast entrée at the Inland Pacific Kitchen, or the smoked salmon smashed potato. Save your sweet tooth for the end of your breakfast and try the carrot cake cinnamon roll (oh my!). Brunch buzzed is always a good idea. IPK’s menu encourages brunchers to indulge in their morning pick-me ups like the Good Boy (gin, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade) or the honeydew Bellini.
Italia Trattori
Browne’s Addition’s best breakfast spot is hands down Italia Trattori. The incredible restaurant is owned and operated by a Semi-Finalist James Beard Nominee who brings their Switzerland, Sydney and Seattle backgrounds to Spokane. You can count on Italia Trattori to bring you the Italian inspired breakfast of your dreams. The Italia breakfast and eggs Florentine Benedict are top notch options but locals say the skillet Italian pork hash is worth a try, too! Madeleine’s Cafe & Patisserie
This Spokane morning meeting place on Main Street first started as a catering business before blooming into a breakfast and bakery haven downtown. Each morning, Madeleine’s stocks its display cases with fresh-baked croissants, cinnamon rolls and so much more. Popular menu items are the Croque Madame sandwich or a variety of omelets.
