Every year, I know I’m going to be inspired, and every year they leave me in happy tears. 🥹 @ywcaspokane is such a vital community organization that directly supports women impacted by domestic violence. These survivors are all around us, and if you know me, you know yet another woman who has endured the unimaginable. ♥️ Congratulations to all of the incredible honorees this year. I am thrilled to live in a place that is so committed to equity and violence prevention in equal measure!

I’ll never forget this one! Soulful Sunday by @rarewellness at @theglowco.collective was next-level relaxing, and provided a rare opportunity (see what I did there) to connect with other women in an absolutely beautiful environment with intention and care. The team welcome to you by taking your custom coffee/matcha order that they had ready for you at the end of the session. So thoughtful! Hi friends! We are working on our best sandwiches article and would love you to a spot that we should check out to add to the list. 🎭 I haven’t laughed this hard for this long in forever! POTUS at @spokanecivictheatre was a wildly irreverent, over-the-top peek behind the scenes of what it takes to keep a presidency on the rails by the women in the White House. Especially in light of the strange times we are in, it was great laugh therapy! The actors selected for each of the roles were absolutely spot-on, and fearless in their delivery. I especially love that it takes place in their intimate Studio Theater, which means that every single seat is guaranteed an exceptional vantage point. The nature of the performance has a kinetic energy that makes everyone feel involved. They utilize every square inch of the stage and surrounding paths, and occasionally involve an audience member or two in the melee. The actors were absolutely exceptional. It doesn’t feel like a performance as much as experiencing genuine behind the scenes at the White House. The bravery and commitment of these performances was spectacular. I had high expectations going into the show and was delighted that they were broadly exceeded. Brava to this amazing cast. 🙇‍♀️ If you haven’t gotten your tickets yet, you have until March 8 to catch this show. Several performances are sold out, but there are still limited seats available! The Kalaloch Tree of Life on the Olympic coast is hanging by a thread after the king tide season. How long will it hang on? No one knows, but it is definitely near the end of its life cycle. If you still haven’t seen it, this year would be a good time for a trip. ♥️ 📸 Stephanie Lawrence

Luna’s service is -legendary- and always makes you feel like a treasured guest, and the food & ambience are among the best the city. You’re always guaranteed to have a great night out here. 🥰 We ordered their house signature martini, which comes with a small bite of potatoes dauphinoise topped with caviar and spiced cashews. It is served tableside, and to make it extra special they coordinated serving both at the same time. 🍸🍸 We rounded out our evening with an order of their steamed clams (with the welcome addition of fennel in the broth), a beef tartare that was utter perfection, and their famous butternut squash soup and Caesar salad. 10/10 no notes. It was such a fun way to celebrate our 13 year engagement anniversary! 🥰 Thank you to the whole Luna team for making our evening so special.
