We look forward to Inlander Restaurant Week in Coeur d’Alene every single year, and in the past have saved the date as a grown-up night out. Last year, though, we decided to switch things up a bit. Looking through the list of participating restaurants, we made a goal for ourselves: choose one restaurant to try for our annual Restaurant Week double date, and one restaurant to try with the kiddos.
If this sounds like a reach, hear us out; the kids are still totally welcome to order off the kid’s menu. They are not required to order off the prix fixe menu. However, we, the mamas, still get the opportunity to order from the Restaurant Week menu, allowing us the opportunity to try some new and fun things, while the kids get to enjoy their tried-and-true favorites. Everyone’s happy!

This year, Restaurant Week runs from February 28th through March 8th. There are 27 restaurants participating this year’s Inlander Restaurant Week in Coeur d’Alene, and many more throughout the Inland North West. We’ve narrowed it down to five of our all-time favorite, family-friendly restaurants for you to choose from this year.
Anthony’s Coeur d’Alene
Located in Riverstone with waterfront views, the ambience at Anthony’s is as beautiful as the aromas that greet you when you walk in the doors. It also happens to be one of our kids’ favorite restaurants in Coeur d’Alene!

Anthony’s is known first and foremost for their fresh seafood, and they never disappoint. On their Restaurant Week menu, you’ll enjoy some of our favorites like their creamy clam chowder, their Alder Planked Sockeye Salmon, and Anthony’s Burnt Cream for dessert.
Our kiddos’ favorite meals at Anthony’s include the Kiddie Pasta and Fish and Chips, both off of the kid’s menu. My eight-year-old prefers a bowl of Anthony’s famous Clam Chowder with a side of french fries.

The Burger Dock
The Burger Dock is one of 4th Street’s best not-so-hidden gems! Featuring a wide variety of handcrafted, locally sourced burgers, fresh salads and the best french fries in town, The Burger Dock is a must-visit anytime of year, and our kiddos’ number one spot for Cheeseburgers. This year’s Inlander Restaurant Week in Coeur d’Alene features some delicious and easy options for the whole family!

This year, The Burger Dock is featuring their three most popular burger selections for their Restaurant Week menu. Their signature burger, The Old Tin Can, is our personal favorite, while The Bee, with its melty brie cheese and drizzle of local honey, comes in at a very close second.
The Burger Dock has an awesome menu for the littles! Kiddos can choose between the Jr. Burger, Grilled Cheese, or a classic PB&J, all with a side of either apples or fries. An added Restaurant Week bonus when dining with the kids is that the prix fixe menu comes with milkshakes, which we usually share (okay, hand over!) with our little ones.

Dockside
Located inside the Coeur d’Alene Resort, Dockside has been one of our family favorites for years. Between stunning lake views and a family-friendly atmosphere, Dockside has become our go-to for special occasions.
Dockside’s Restaurant Week menu hits all the right notes. The Poke Napoleon, Pan-Seared Duck Breast and S’Mores Molten Lava Cake are the big stand outs for us.

For the kiddos, the grilled cheese and french fries is always a huge hit (no surprise there!). Of course, they always end their meals with a personal sized Gooey, a Dockside staple for dessert. You can see the entire Dockside Restaurant Week menu here!
Honey
Honey Eatery & Social Club is one of our favorite family friendly restaurants on Sherman. With its modern twist on comfort food and an easy-going atmosphere, they are such a great choice for any meal of the day. Our kids love the honeybee decor as much as they love the food. When we have people visiting from out of town, we always take them to Honey Eatery & Social Club. It’s a regular feature for Inlander Restaurant Week in Coeur d’Alene!

Honey Eatery and Social Club’s Restaurant Week menu will offer up some pretty impossible to choose from options! We definitely recommend going with friends who will share their food with you. Personally we wouldn’t skip the Truffled Deviled Eggs or the Mushroom Shortrib Tatertot Casserole. For dessert, their Cast Iron Cookie with ice cream and warm bourbon caramel is an absolute must.
As for the kids, they have a wonderful kid’s menu sure to please even the pickiest eaters (ask me how I know). My little one loves the cheese pizza and orders it every time!

Tito’s Italian Grill
Located on Sherman Avenue inside The Shops, Tito’s Italian Grill is a fantastic option for a family-friendly restaurant week date. TIto’s Italian Grill offers a cozy vibe as comforting as the Italian cuisine they serve. Our kids love to order the pizza off their fabulous kid’s menu.
Tito’s Italian Grill has a Restaurant Week Menu that offers something for everyone. We always order the Harvest Apple Spinach Salad and highly recommend it, but could be swayed to order the Spinach Artichoke Dip with grilled focaccia.
