Five Most Romantic Restaurants in Coeur d’Alene:
Beverly’s at the Coeur d’Alene Resort

Vine and Olive
Vine and Olive opened its doors in 2017 and has been one of our go-to date night restaurants ever since. Located conveniently in Riverstone, it’s the perfect spot to combine with a movie or shopping date. Inside the softly lit restaurant, you’ll find two dining areas and a gorgeous bar to sit at. Vine and Olive is known for their impeccable wine selection, which they can help you pair with each menu item! If you’re a big fan of the wine, consider joining “The Vine Club”, with carefully curated wine selections by proprietor Naomi Boutz.
Speaking of the menu, the food is as delicious as the wine. Think cold and hot small plates to share, large plate options, and always an impossible to choose from dessert menu. Some of our favorite menu items are the Marinated Beets, Acorn Frites, and the Bolognese.
Pro tip: One of our favorite ways to kick off date night at Vine and Olive is to immediately order oysters on the half shell (which are flown in fresh weekly) with a glass of bubbles.

Angelo’s Ristorante – Image by by Hannah Malsam and Wendy Heaton
Angelo’s Ristorante
Nestled in Midtown, Angelo’s Ristorante is one of 4th Street’s greatest treasures. As soon as you walk into this authentically Italian restaurant, you know you’re going to be in for a treat. Intimate seating and candlelight set the date night tone, while standard tunes likeThe Way You Look Tonight play in the background. Come hungry and ready to enjoy a leisurely, authentic Italian three-course-meal, plus a dessert.
Pro tip: If you love pasta as much as we do, we highly recommend the Lobster Ravioli and the Penna Al Positano (You can thank us later).
Tony’s On the Lake
Located on the East end of the lake, this (almost) hidden gem has been a romantic date night destination for locals and visitors alike since 1952. Tony’s On the Lake features Italian inspired cuisine and sweeping views of Lake Coeur d’Alene, the perfect combination for a romantic dinner! Newly renovated, Tony’s exudes old school charm with a modern, updated twist. Specialty items including house pulled mozzarella and fresh pappardelle, every item on the menu promises the perfect fine dining experience.
Pro Tip: In the mood for a cocktail or glass of wine? The bar is stunning, and the perfect spot to cozy up on date night.

Stylus Wine and Vinyl Bar – Image by Stylus
Stylus Wine and Vinyl Bar
Stylus Wine and Vinyl Bar is where three of life’s greatest pleasures (in our case, great food, great wine, and great music) converge into one fabulous, romantic dining experience. Located on 4th street, Stylus Wine and Vinyl Bar features a simple and delicious French food menu, as well as regional and European wines, plus a full bar. We highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time, because between the amazing atmosphere and delicious food and drinks, Stylus Wine and Vinyl Bar tends to fill up quickly! Whether you’re planning on sharing a charcuterie board or ordering a full blown meal, we cannot stress enough that you must not skip the Boujee Chips!

Pro tip: Be sure to follow along on their Instagram, where they share live performance dates by local artists and Listening Room Sessions featuring different artists on their HiFi system.

Beverly’s at the Coeur d’Alene Resort
Located on the seventh floor of the Coeur d’Alene Resort, Beverley’s may just have the most beautiful views in the area. Giant windows offer panoramic views of Lake Coeur d’Aene, a sight to behold no matter the time of year. While the views are to die for, the food is the big draw to Beverly’s. Chef Jim Barrett and his crew offer the finest cuisine in North Idaho, with something to make everyone happy. Think Jumbo Scallops, Lobster Mac and Cheese, and Filet Mignon.

If you’re celebrating an extra special occasion (or you just feel like celebrating life), consider calling a couple of weeks ahead of time to reserve one of the private rooms! These are available for parties, but are wonderful for date nights too!

Pro Tip: When bread service is offered, always say yes and always order their famous Orange Roll. Trust us on this one!
